There was a blue handout that Ms. Leardi wrote up listing options for next year, including field trips, movie nights, model senate, etc.

Zach and Mitchell brought up some issues that we could lobby against, including a proposed piece of legislation bribing drug addicts to sterilize themselves, as well as beef companies that sue customers for publicly criticizing…

We only have 3 meetings left, so all people going to Model Senate are required to attend all meetings. If you cannot make a meeting, please…

Meeting 1/27

Basically we talked a bit about the fundraiser:

-Collecting time extended to 2/5

-Possibly collecting during the day?

Also, we started discussing the Mock Senate. We need to start seriously brainstorming next week.

Because there will be an endless amount of bills, we have a few restrictions as to what we will allow as far as what we will submit.

Please note: this has nothing to do with beliefs, only the fact that most of these are very common and… Continue

Pre-Meeting Notes!

Okay, I was not present at the last meeting again (sickness-sorry!) but I have a few things that need to be discussed on Wednesday, 1/27 (all about the fundraiser).

1) Reviewing the lunch schedule for collecting money- some people are forgetting, or may not be able to find the materials during their lunch... I just want to make sure that we collect as much as possible.

2) Going over our goals, profits, and possible time extensions.

3) Talking about the date of… Continue

Tentative Meeting Notes 1/13/10

Happy New Year! I don't have the notes from last week, since I wasn't there, but not much happened (as far as I know).I will not be at the next meeting, either, but here are our main issues that I would like to discuss (in detail; I will mention them in an e-mail soon):1) FUNDRAISER!!Mr. Light is a busy, busy man. So busy he forgot to call me down for my appointments. Today I left the flyer on his secretary's desk w/a sticky note on it in hopes that he will read it and get back to me on it. :P…See More
